You don't need to venture far in order to find some entertainment this summer. Here are our top 5 places to visit with the whole family:

1) Mono Hills Provincial Park
Take a hike through Mono Hills Provincial Park. The park features a 20-km trail system through the Niagara Escarpment.
2) Forks of the Credit
Located right in Caledon, Forks of the Credit Provincial Park is known for amazing hiking and picnicking. From advanced trails to simple open areas, the park has something for the entire family to enjoy.
3) Cheltenham Badlands
Visit the exposed bedrock within the badlands which were formed over 400 million years ago. Through erosion the landscape has formed into vegetation free hummocks and gullies. This is a must see within Caledon.
4) Earl Rove Provincial Park
If water works is more your thing, be sure to check out Earl Rove Provincial Park. Canoeing, swimming and fishing are all common activities at the park - if you are feeling extra adventurous you can camp on the grounds as well!
5) Cold Creek Conservation Area
Cold Creek Conservation Area offers a little bit of everything outdoors. From rock climbing to outdoor education and stewardship to wildlife and nature. Located in Nobleton, this conservation area is a must see for those who love to be outside.
